In this blog post you will learn how to properly put a vinyl decal on to your gumball machine. There are several different reasons for why you would want to do something like this. By putting a vinyl decal onto your gumball machine you can display anything either you or your customer may like. You may have a game room and want to put a vinyl sticker of pinball machine on your machine, Maybe you have a man cave and would like to put a vinyl sticker of your favorite team onto the side of your machine.

Now lets think of some possibilities for the use of a vinyl decal on your gumball machine if you were a vending machine route operator. You could first start out by putting your company name, then your contact information for your customers to get ahold of you when your gumball machine is empty or needs any other services. Besides your company name and contact information there are so many more possibilities! Such as adding a state or nations flag for a customer that is very prideful of the place they live or are from. By adding a taste of something your customer likes to your gumball machine, it could potentially increase the chance of you being allowed to put your machine within the business.  The more locations you have, the more potential you have of people putting quarters into your machines.

There are several different types of decals but only one type will stand up to all of the things you will put your gumball machine through. If you put a paper type decal on to your machine it will get faded by sun or damaged by water. The best kind of decal to put on the OUTSIDE body of your machine is a decal made with 651 vinyl. This type of vinyl is made for going on the outside of building as signage. It will withstand water and can stick through almost everything that you could put your machine through. Although it will fade over years of direct sun light, the potential of it fading while with inside a business is slim to none even if your gumball machine sitting beside a window.

Properly placing a vinyl decal on to any surface is extremely easy especially if that surface is metal. Which is perfect with the Rhino line of gumball machines. Every body is made of pure cast medal. Although metal is the ideal type of material, 651 vinyl will also stick on to plastic bodies. A gumball machine with a plastic machine is still fully functional and will get the job done but if you are looking for something that is going to last for years to come we recommend gumball machines with metal bodies.

Okay now for the meat and potatoes of this blog. Below are the 5 easy steps you need to put a vinyl decal onto your gumball machine.

1.     Clean body with window cleaner and a micro fiber towel
